Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
God is raising up a number of young people at Bethlehem who set an example for the adult believers in how to serve in love on this issue of disability.
I happen to live with one of them. And it is her birthday today.
Hannah, it is a joy to watch how you love your older brother so freely. I already see evidence that God is making you into a woman with steel in your spine – just like your mom, and so many of the other moms we know also raising boys and girls with disabilities.
I love you very much. Dad
Happy Birthday, Hannah. You are an inspiration!
Happy Birthday to your precious Hannah!!!
Happy Birthday Hannah! Such precious pictures! I am so excited to watch and see what God is going to do in your life. He has great things in store for you! Praise the Lord!
This is a very beautiful post. It is so touching to see the pictures of your daughter setting the example of love for us. Wow what a sweet spirit. I also have a younger daughter and the love she is starting to build is infectious. Our prayer is that Lydia (our daughter) grow to love and care for Ana (her older sister) with a love that only God can bring! So happy birthday Hannah God bless you as you teach us how to love!
I pray that my Carysse will be like Hannah. What a great example she is!
I have looked at this post several times and it just keeps moving me. I appreciate so much about it — a father’s public expression of affection for his daughter, the message of affirmation towards those who are loving our special children, the scripture focus, etc. Thank you for the time, prayerful thought, vulnerability and authenticity, passion, Christ focus, and depth you bring to all your posts. This will remain particularly memorable.
