You play the strings of my heart, brother. I recently touched on disability issues in my article "Earth: the Cosmic Gloryground of God" at my blog. I hate the way our society declassifies certain people so as to steal their rights and their lives, but moreso because the image of God is denied and defaced. Keep on speaking the word and heart of our Creator God, brother John. I'll see you in glory with all of our restored brothers and sisters!

Diana,

Thank you very much for your kind words! It touches my heart very much to know that you are encouraged by my testimony of God's grace in the lives of my family! I know that God is forever gracious and full of mercy and that He is the answer to all of life's hard questions and situations. He's shown Himself faithful time and time again and I am persuaded that He is there and that He will continue to be there for you and yours. Always trust in God...Putting our trust in Him never fails...God is love and love never fails...,

Praising God for the opportunity to hear you speak tonight. Praising HIM, for the precious children HE has entrusted to us. Thank you for giving a voice to so many of God's children. Your words were profoundly affirming! My soul was refreshed and much needed, as I make my way through this new way of living life without my beautiful daughter, Alisha. I pray, that by God's mercy & grace, I will not waste this grief. Thank you for being available to the Lord and His kingdom work. I have been Blessed.

Vicki,
This story and testimony of the Lord's work in your mother's life and the lives of you and your siblings and families is such a wonderful acknowledgment of His grace being sufficient and His power being made perfect in weakness! Thank you for sharing it. I have been encouraged greatly by it as I have struggled with an illness that effects my emotional and cogntive abilities when it flares-up.

Yes, John, I have been praying a similar prayer for the leaders at my church and all around the world, that I and others with disabilities (& or families) would be a joy to those who are working hard in the Lord to serve the "least of these". I'm glad to hear of these whom you are aware who are reaching out to the "unknown" places. It's good to join with you and others in prayer with the very passion God has placed in my heart.
