What a wonderful reminder, John. We, the parents who are His beloved adopted children, are finding that our Abba Father God is teaching us more than we ever imagined with raising a daughter, who is deaf, to become mighty in Truth and Spirit unto Him! We find Him showing us repeatedly that in Him bringing us our daughter who is deaf to raise up unto Him is truly just part of His mighty workmanship He is completing in each of our hearts as He is growing us all up/maturing us into Christ likeness with fruit of the Spirit developed and ripened in our hearts! We rejoice so in knowing that, but need to be reminded continually of that Truth in the ‘moments’ of each day as we are in spiritual battle with lies of flesh, Satan, and the world — frisking and replacing those lies with God’s Truth in order to press on with the HOPE within us! We must be meditating on Truths like you have written about in the post above! Yes, we must be continually meditating and living out God’s Truth in Divine power of Holy Spirit with armor of God held in place with prayer! “When I need You, Holy Spirit, more than life itself, then, Christ is formed in me.” ~ Phillips, Craig, and Dean “Take the very hardest thing in your life–the place of difficulty, outward or inward, and expect God to triumph gloriously in that very spot. Just there He can bring your soul into blossom.” ~Lilias Trotter, missionary from Parables of the Cross~ In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith–of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire–may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 1 Peter 1:6-7
